With over 100+ awards between RDI/VMSD, A.R.E. and Chain Store Age Retail Store of the Year design competitions, I feel that retail interior photography is my main grasp. Take a look at some of the award winning projects I’ve photographed, as well as some that I feel should be.

Bob Evans

Inspired by the Bob Evans farm in Rio Grande OH, WD Partners created this "contemporary homestead" concept for the Xenia OH prototype. The interior has been updated to feel modern with fresh graphics, flat-screen TV's and redesigned retail area.

M&M's World New York

Chute Gerdeman

This Times Square store leverages the appeal of some of the world's most recognized candies. Shoppers are delighted and surprised by the brand characters presented in a uniquely New York context. DDI readers voted it the Best Designed New Store and Best Entertainment Store.

Henri Bendel

Limited Brands

This Somerset Collections Mall prototype is iconic of the New York City brand. The new suburban design feature the signature brown and white Henri Bendel striped fixture and wall treatments as well as darkened floor and ceilings to showcase the highlighted merchandise.

Jack Daniel's General Store

Big Red Rooster

The store was designed to extend the experience of the Jack Daniel's distillery tour. The historical site was where Jack Daniel's started in business. The rooms and mezzanine of the space were restored, retaining many of the original pieces and integrating them into unique fixtures.

Upshot

A Chicago located marketing agency specializing in brand and retail marketing, Upshot's new headquarters in Chicago's Merchandise Mart feature amazing conference rooms and an integrated workspace that promotes collaborative and creative thinking.

Timberland's Men's Footwear Concept Shop

Timberland

The "Modern Urban" theme of this Timberland shop presents a lifestyle experience that's unified through art, materials and product presentation. The minimalist design and selected finishes enhance the look and feel, while keeping the shop brand appropriate for both urban and casual footwear.

The Miramar, Florida prototype earned:Chain Store Age Retail Store of the Year, First Place, ISP/VMSD Retail Design Award, Award of Merit; and NASFM Retail Design Award. A wonderful collection of awards for a well designed site!

Helzberg Diamonds

A simpler, more feminine and inspiring space to capture a new target customer. The welcoming interior of the Webb Gin Mall store presents products in a way that showcases their uniqueness and sets the tone for personalized customer service.

Sunglass Hut Prada Concept

Luxottica

A temporary installation located within Rockefeller Center, this concepts design featured a unique mirror-like cash-wrap and custom fixtures worthy of the Prada brand.

Shaw's Star Market

SuperValu Store Design Services

Chestnut Hill is the flagship location for Shaw's/Star Market, a division of SUPERVALU, and New England's new standard for sustainable supermarkets. It features a unique open layout, two-story design and is the first grocery store in the nation to use all LED lighting.

Look Fab Studios

Upshot

P&G Canada launched its first store in Toronto to extend its multimedia "Look Fab" campaign. The pop-up store houses three zones; makeup, skin and hair care. Visitors were treated to facials, hair styling and make up tips. The temporary space was wildly successful and was enhanced for the next campaign.

Upshot

The Yorktown neighborhood was chosen for the next generation of P&G Canada's Look Fab program. The new temporary exhibit is more dramatic than the original concept with deep colors and moodier lighting adding richness. Beauty tips are still the focus while extending the Proctor and Gamble beauty brands.

RTKL and Just Born, Inc

A new National Harbor store concept for Just Born’s Peeps, Mike and Ike, Hot Tamales and Peanut Chews products designed by RTKL. The colorful site includes custom wall tiles, ever changing LED lighting, 3-D forms and wonderful identity graphics.
